F-4B Phantom II VF-33 "Tarsiers" USS America Vietnam War

The VF-33 "Tarsiers" did use Phantoms during the Vietnam War and was deployed aboard the USS America in 1968. Their primary task was ground strike in support of the troops on the ground. In total, they would drop over three million pounds of ordnance.
