SARC 6pdr Marmom-Herrington used by the 2nd Household Regiment during 1944.

In July 1943 it was assigned to the Second Army and in June 1944 it landed in Normandy as part of VIII Corps. Thereafter it served throughout the North West Europe Campaign until the end of the war with VIII and XXX Corps.
