11 countries offered to contribute a force which would be stationed on the Egyptian side of the armistice line. The 8 Yugoslav Greyhounds that served as part of UNEF originally arrived in 'SMB' green, later repainted white and given standard UNEF markings alongside a Yugoslav flag for national recognition.
